Denver Therapist Services

Couples Therapy

In the safe, nonjudgmental space of couples counseling, you will experience the transformative support of a third-party professional who will help you articulate your inner experience to your partner in a healthy, constructive way. We want to show you how to avoid cycling through the same conflict repeatedly by providing you with customized tools and psycho-education on self-soothing, co-regulation, and communication so that you can move through the “stuck” areas of your relationship.

Psychedelic Therapy

We offer ketamine-assisted therapy and psilocybin-assisted therapy. Ketamine therapy has become increasingly popular in the mental health world because of its efficacy in treating depression and other trauma symptoms.

Ketamine creates neuroplasticity in the brain so that new connections can form, which leads to cognitive and behavioral change. We combine ketamine therapy with other trauma-focused modalities for a holistic approach.

Trauma Therapy

We use EMDR, an evidence-based modality, along with somatic therapies to treat complex trauma and PTSD. EMDR has been shown to decrease trauma symptoms and desensitize trauma-related triggers in individuals. We combine EMDR with somatic therapies and mindfulness-based techniques for an effective “bottom-up” approach that regulates and nourishes the nervous system. A regulated nervous system is the foundation for mental well-being.

Trauma-Focused Somatic & Psychedelic-Assisted Denver Therapist

Tali Wertheimer, MA, LPCC

I am a holistic counselor specializing in somatic psychotherapy and mindfulness-based approaches to mental health and personal growth. I am here to create a judgment-free space for you to slow down and attune to the messages from your body, heart, and soul so that you can cultivate deeper self-knowledge, self-acceptance, and self-efficacy.

As a trauma-informed therapist with a systems lens, my practice is founded in the Five C’s: compassion, curiosity, collaboration, consent, and cultural humility.  It is my greatest honor to help people embrace their authentic selves, balance their needs for autonomy and connection, find joy in simple moments, and expand their capacity for pleasure.

*Tali offers individual somatic and EMDR therapy, Denver couples therapy, psilocybin therapy, and ketamine therapy.

Denver Therapist FAQs

  • We'll start with a complimentary 20-minute consultation to discuss what brings you to therapy and determine if we're a good fit. If so, your first full session will be 60 minutes (for individuals) or 90 minutes (for couples). We'll explore your history, current concerns, and goals.

In our intake session, together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan and discuss which modalities (ketamine therapy, EMDR, somatic therapy, or a combination) will best support your healing journey.

  • Your first session is a 60-minute intake where we’ll explore your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This structured session helps us understand where you’ve been and create a direction for our work together. We encourage you to schedule self-care time afterward, as sharing your story can feel vulnerable.
