Trauma-informed somatic therapy, EMDR, couples therapy, ketamine-assisted therapy in Seattle.

So often, therapy favors the mind and neglects the body and nervous system. As therapists specializing in somatic therapy, we aim to get you back in your body. We want you to feel relief, not just in our sessions, but in the following days and weeks.
The truth is that trauma isn’t just “in your head”; it leaves a very real biological imprint on your body, memory, and brain chemistry. Through somatic (ancient Greek for “body”) psychotherapy and mindfulness-based practices, we will help you find freedom from limiting beliefs, depression, anxiety, and addictive patterns.
-
EMDR is an evidence-based and effective modality for treating trauma and trauma-related symptoms such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and PTSD. Our team of trauma therapists takes a somatic approach to EMDR, blending mindfulness practices with somatic therapy and parts work (Internal Family Systems).
If you’ve been struggling with trauma-related symptoms that haven’t budged with traditional talk therapy in the past, this option may be best for you.

Ketamine therapy is an excellent option if you feel like you’ve tried everything but still feel stuck. It is a safe and legal therapeutic option for treating symptoms ranging from depression and anxiety to OCD and eating disorders.
Ketamine therapy is a science-backed intervention that heals on a neurobiological level, ultimately creating more lasting and transformative change.

I work with couples who feel stuck and are seeking support from a third party to help gain movement and provide hope. Couples often need help to learn better communication skills, to fight fairly, and improve connection and intimacy.
In couples therapy, I use the PACT model (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy).
I was trained in PACT level 1 and 2. I enjoy this therapy with couples because it is active and deals with things in the moment. I show up to each session present and open to what is happening between the couple. This is not a cookie cutter model and is flexible and works with each couple where they are.

About Sona Collective
We get it, you’ve tried everything.
At Sona Collective, we’re interrupting the Western medical model of diagnosing and labeling clients and, instead, we will meet you where you’re at with embodied support so you can live a fully integrated life.
We blend practices from the East and West, neuroscience with spirituality, and movement with introspection. Our work together will focus on integrating all parts of you—body, mind, and soul—to build healthier relationships, improve your self-esteem, learn to relate differently to anxiety and depression, reconnect with purpose and meaning, and come home to your body.
We believe in the healing power of embodiment to recover from the hurt you’ve experienced.

We’re an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill your insurance company directly, but can provide a receipt for the sessions you paid for, called a Superbill, upon request. You can submit this to your insurance provider for any out-of-network benefits you may have, and they may issue a reimbursement check. We recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning therapy to find out what your out-of-network benefits are.

We’ll start with a complimentary consultation to discuss what brings you to therapy and determine if we’re a good fit. We'll explore your current concerns and goals.
In our intake session, together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan and discuss which modalities (ketamine therapy, EMDR, somatic therapy, or a combination) will best support your healing journey.

Therapy length varies based on your individual needs and goals. Some clients find relief in a few months, while complex trauma may take longer when doing traditional EMDR and somatic therapy sessions. Ketamine-assisted therapy typically involves an initial series of 3-6 sessions combined with preparation and integration work, while ongoing EMDR and somatic therapy continues as long as it feels beneficial for your healing journey.

Yes! We use a service called Thrizer to verify your out-of-network benefits before you start therapy. Simply enter your insurance information here, and Thrizer will provide a detailed breakdown of your coverage, including your deductible, out-of-network reimbursement rate, and estimated out-of-pocket costs.
This helps you understand exactly what your insurance will cover before your first session, so there are no surprises.

Our telehealth sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform that we'll send you a link to before your first appointment.
We use the same link for every telehealth session, so you can keep this bookmarked for future sessions. Simply click the link at your scheduled time from a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable, and we'll meet you there for your session.
All you need is a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone; no downloads or special software required.

Your first session is a 60-minute intake where we’ll explore your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This structured session helps us understand where you’ve been and create a direction for our work together. We encourage you to schedule self-care time afterward, as sharing your story can feel vulnerable.
